Mary C. McNichols, 88, of Waverly, Ohio, formerly of Columbus, Ohio, passed away peacefully on September 5, 2025. She was born to Nellie and James E. Leach on September 5, 1937. Mary was a beloved wife, mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother. Mary had a variety of interests she enjoyed throughout her life. She loved cooking for her family, gardening, doing puzzles, creating art, and of course loved going to Walmart. Her spirit and love for life will be deeply missed by all who knew her. She was preceded in death by her husband, Daniel McNichols, and children, Donald Stevens and Loretta Merical. Survived by her children, Janet (Ben) Swank of Zanesville, Ohio, Chris McNichols of Columbus, Ohio, Cindy McNichols of Columbus, Ohio, Peggy Adams of Waverly, Ohio, Tammy Church of Columbus, Ohio, and Mary Pollock of Cambridge, Ohio. Mary was a proud grandmother to 90 grandchildren and great-grandchildren; brother, Jim Leach, many nieces, nephews, and other relatives. Family will receive friends, Wednesday, September 10, 2025, beginning at 11 a.m. until the time of funeral service starting at 1 p.m. at GRAUMLICH FUNERAL HOME, 1351 South High Street, Columbus, Ohio 43207, Tony Piper officiating.
