Mary Wilson Merritt

Mary Wilson Merritt of Clarkton, age 59 past away February 20, at New Hanover Medical Center in Wilmington. She is preceded in death by her father, Joe Kelly Wilson, an infant sister, and a special friend, Jeffery Bryant. She is survived by her mother, Elizabeth Wilson of Elizabethtown; two sons, Donny Merritt and fiance Danielle of Dublin, and Billy Merritt and wife Mercedes of Elizabethtown; a daugher, Samantha Pickett and husband Thadious of Chinquapin; two brothers, George Wilson of Elizabethtown and Joe Wilson and wife Tammy of Kinston; 8 grandchildren, Landon Merritt, Kameron Merritt, Sky Burney, Anabella Merritt, Joelene Merritt, Molly Merritt, Whitney Sult and Tanazia Pickett; 2 great grandchildren, Riley Grace and Hunter; and a special friend, Rhonda Bryant. The family will be receiving friends at the home of Billy and Mercedes Merritt, 3707 US Hwy 701 N, Elizabethtown. A Memorial Service will be held on Wednesday, February 25, 2015 at 6:30 p.m. at Open Door Ministries in Elizabethtown officiated by Rev. Randy Andrews and Rev Dale Taylor.
