Mary E. "Beth" Metz, 83, of Uniontown Ohio, passed away peacefully at her home surrounded by her family on October 20th, 2025. Beth was born in Canton, OH on January 12th, 1942 to Glenn and Agnes (Kliner) Eaver. She enjoyed watching her Ohio State Buckeyes win, tennis matches, figure skating and food network shows. Spending time with her family was most important to her.
She was proceeded in death by her husband William "Bill" Metz, daughter Elizabeth "Liz" Young, both parents, brother Anthony "Tony" Eaver and sister Veronica "Roni" Miller.
Beth was a devoted mother, grandmother, great grandmother, aunt and friend. Her strength and guiding light will be immensely missed. She leaves behind her son Andrew "Andy" (Ronda) Metz, grandchildren Kara (Brian) Shooks, Bailey (Mikayla) Metz, Derek Young, Nathaniel Young, Zachary (Manal) Young, Wyatt Metz, great grandchildren Mercer, Marshall, Oscar, sister-in-law Carla Eaver, brother-in-law Mervin Miller and many nieces and nephews.
A celebration of Life will be held on Saturday, November 1st, 2025 at the Hartville Kitchen's East Banquet Room (1015 Edison St NW Hartville, OH 44632) from 2pm-5pm.
