Mary Virginia (McAllister)Metz,93, of Solvay New York, peacefully passed away on Friday, June 7. She was a native of Rome and a life resident of Solvay. Virginia was a graduate of CCBI where she earned a secretarial degree. She loved vacationing in Maine and was an avid Yankee fan. Virginia was employed by The Dept of Defense where she worked as a secretary before her retirement. She was predeceased by her loving husband, H. George Metz; and her sister, Ellen Garzione. Virginia is survived by her two sons, Steven and Gary Metz. A private graveside service was held in Riverview Cemetery, Waynesboro, VA.
