Mary and Chet are famous. They did a lot of walking in the neighborhood and made many friends on their outings. It was very obvious how dedicated Chet was to Mary. They were an inspiration to many of us and an example of what real love looks like in action.
Though I never had the privilege of having a conversation with Mary, I feel like I know her though Chet´s stories and photos. She sounds like she was full of fun, creativity, the ability to work hard, and a little bit of mischief. And I know she loved Chet deeply. Even at the end, she still would look dreamily into his eyes and smile.
They are a beautiful love story. Rest in sweet peace Mary.
