Mary Jolly Mulholland

Mary Jolly Mulholland, 91, of Swoyersville, passed away on Thursday, October 23rd at Hospice of the Sacred Heart, Dunmore.

Mary was born in Philadelphia on February 28th, 1934, daughter of the late James and Sophie Staab.

Mary was a member of the Red Hat Society and loved being with her friends. She was the oldest of 10 siblings, growing up in the Fishtown neighborhood in Philadelphia. Mary and her husband Walter raised their 3 children in the Feltonville section of Philadelphia and moved to Forty Fort, in 1989. She loved her family, enjoying her roles as mother, grandmother, great grandmother and great great grandmother.

She is preceded in death by her husbands Walter Mulholland, and George Jolly, her sister, Cassie and brothers, James (Junior), John and Steve.

Mary is survived by her children, Debra (Scott), Walter (Ann) and James (Brenda); as well as her grandchildren, great grandchildren and a great great granddaughter.

Family and friends are invited from 11 AM to 12 PM on Saturday, November 1st to Hugh B. Hughes & Son, Inc. Funeral Home, 1044 Wyoming Ave., Forty Fort.

Funeral service will be held immediately following calling hours at 12 PM. Interment will be held at Denison Cemetery.
