Ballhorn Chapels Funeral & Cremation Care CenterMary A. (Quasius) Murry, 93, of Sheboygan, passed away peacefully on March 27, 2026 at home surrounded by her loving family. She was born on November 24, 1932 in Sheboygan to William and Cecilia (Wagner) Quasius. Mary grew up in Sheboygan, attending Grant Elementary School and graduating from Central High School in 1951.
On July 18, 1953 she was united in marriage to the love of her life, Dennis Murry, at St. Clement's Catholic Church in Sheboygan. Together they built a home filled with love and steady support for one another. She was a proud and devoted mother to John and Barb. She carried her strong sense of dedication and kindness into her work, serving for 25 years as the parish secretary at Holy Name Church.
Mary had a true passion for sports and rarely missed a game. Whether it was baseball, basketball, tennis, golf, or football, she not only watched—she knew the game. Her remarkable memory for players and statistics was something that amazed family and friends and often led to lively conversations.
Some of Mary’s happiest moments were spending time with family and sharing coffee each day with her neighbors as they caught up on stories and always enjoyed a good laugh. Those gatherings were a reflection of who she was: welcoming, genuine, and deeply connected to the people around her.
Mary is survived by her son John of Waukesha, daughter Barb (Joe) Sheehan of Sheboygan, grandchildren: Erin (Dan) Holloway, Kelly (Michael) McWilliam, Johnny (Yanet) Murry, Joe Sheehan and Courtney Sheehan; great-grandchildren: Danny, Tommy, Kahlie, Josie, Nick and Patrick; and sister-in-law Marilyn Quasius.
In addition to her parents, Mary is preceded in death by her husband Dennis, daughter-in-law Kathleen Murry, and grandson Nicholas Sheehan.
A Memorial Service will be held on Sunday, April 12, 2026 at 1:00 p.m. at Ballhorn Chapels Funeral & Cremation Care Center, 1201 N. 8th St., Sheboygan, with Pastor Joe Zenk officiating. Relatives and friends may visit with the family from 12:00 p.m. until the time of service at the funeral home.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Nicholas P. Sheehan Scholarship Fund through the Sheboygan Public Education Foundation, 605 N. 8th Street, Suite 214, Sheboygan, WI 53081 or through their website at www.spefwi.org.
The family extends their heartfelt gratitude to the compassionate hospice team at Sharon S. Richardson Community Hospice for the kindness and care they provided in Mary’s final days.
