Mary June Nieshe, 90, passed away peacefully in her home on October 7, 2023 in Marysville, WA with her loving family by her side. She was born on June 23, 1933 in Arlington, WA, the daughter of Mabel and Bert Hinds.
She liked to sew, paint, and do crafts. She liked to hunt when she was younger and loved to garden even in her 80s. She did a lot of canning for her family and taught her daughter Cindy everything she knew. She even helped build our family home in Day Creek. Mary loved spending time with her family and friends.
She is survived by her daughters, Cindy White Armijo (Dan Armijo) of Marysville; Rosetta Troxel (Kenneth Zweegman) of Concrete; her son, Elbert "Buster" Nieshe (Joann); several grandchildren, James Troxel, Brad Troxel (Amy), Derek White, Danielle Gallatin (Eric), Brittani Nelson (Jeff), Nicole Nieshe, Bruce Troxel, Jason Armijo, Chris Armijo; numerous great grandchildren, Katrina Shepard-White, Jordan Bivins, Lynn Sinclair, Chris (Annie) White, Aaron White, Trinity Troxel, Olivia Troxel, Conner Troxel, Mackenzie Zangl, Tyler Troxel, Justin Troxel, MaKenzie Troxel, Kenny Schwer, Ethan Armijo, Elijah Armijo, Isabella Armijo, Sophia Armijo, Ryan Armijo; her 2 dogs, Maya and Tiny; a cat, Stubby; numerous other friends and loved ones.
She is preceded in death by her parents, Mabel and Bert Hinds; her in-laws, Anna and William Nieshe; her husband of 64 years, George Nieshe; her youngest son, John Nieshe; siblings, Emerson Hinds, Ruth Rupp, Ernie Hinds and Roy Hinds.
Mom wished to be cremated by Lemley Funeral Home in Sedro-Woolley, WA. In lieu of flowers, we ask that you donate to either Lemley's for her cremation costs, or the Breast Cancer Research Foundation as she beat breast cancer many years ago. Share your memories of Mary and sign the online guest register.
