William Chester "Bill" Holt Sr.

William 'Bill' Chester Holt, Sr., age 84, of Sedro-Woolley, Washington passed away October 3, 2025 in Mount Vernon, WA at the hospital with his daughter and her fiancé by his side. He was born April 1, 1941, in Sedro-Woolley, WA to Earl and Ruby (Hoyle) Holt.

Bill served in the US Navy from 1958 to 1964 and worked as a logger most of his life. He was known by his kid's friends as "Dad."

Bill is survived by his children, Bill "Billy" (Shannon) Holt, Jr., Patti (Noel Mattson) Holt Dorval, Tessa Holt-Cadman, Michael Holt, Earl (Eleanor) Holt, Rena (fiancé, Jeffery) Holt, Ruby Holt, all of Sedro-Woolley and Wally Warm; grandchildren, William Holt III, Sabryna Holt, Hannah Holt, Lexi Holt, Lillian Holt-Cadman, Richard Holt, Chelsey Holt, Hannah Holt, Mason Holt, Winston Kiakaka, Violet Holt, Chassidy Holt, Clayton Holt, Alex Holt, Charles Holt, Mahina Holt, Zoe Holt-Ward, Jaime Roldan Alvarez, Jr., Michael Holt, Ethen Holt, Tessa Holt, Gabrielle Donavan, Elizabeth Bueno, Logan Dorval, Marcella Warm, Kiera Warm, Jordan Ferrier; great grandchildren, Braxton William, James Maguire, Roland Romain, Dillon Donovan, Everly Bueno and Arwin Bueno; nephew, Todd (Paula) Torgeson great nephew, Terrel; great nieces, Taylor and Emma Torgeson; former wife, Janice Patricia 'Pat' (Shaffer) Holt.

He was preceded in death by his wives, Francisca 'Frannie' Elizabeth Holt and Theresa Holt; son, Franklin Theodore Holt; brother, Richard Holt; sister, Betty Jean, father and mother, Earl and Ruby Holt; aunts and uncles, as well as grandparents.

A Memorial Service will be held at the American Legion Hall from 4-7pm on Nov. 1, 2025.
