Mary Noren Obituary

Obituary published on Legacy.com by Sutton Memorial Home - Taylorville on Apr. 6, 2025.
Mary Louise Noren, 95, of Taylorville, passed away Thursday, March 20, 2025, at her daughter's home in Oregon.
Louise was born on April 15, 1929, in Jeiseyville, the daughter of Doro and Nora (Fioni) Pasqueno. She married Charles L. (Lindy) Noren on October 28, 1950, in Kincaid. He preceded her in death on August 23, 1994.
Surviving are her two sons, Charles Noren of Taylorville and Vincent Noren of Honolulu, Hawaii, one daughter, Mrs. Mark (Linda) Reynolds of Oregon; six grandchildren; and six great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Lindy; and a brother, Martin.
Louise was the oldest member of the Taylorville Hospital Auxiliary, and she volunteered her time for 30 years. She retired from the State of Illinois and worked at the information desk. She was known as a "go-getter" and looked forward to returning to work after the weekend. She loved her job dearly and would love to pull the slots a few times at the local casino. Her famous quote was "I live to give". This quote describes Louise's character.
Visitation will be held from 9:00 a.m. – 10:00 a.m. on Tuesday, April 15, 2025, at St. Mary's Catholic Church in Taylorville. Funeral Mass will be held at 10:00 a.m. at the church following visitation with Father John Burnette officiating. Burial will be in Oak Hill Cemetery in Taylorville.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the Alzheimer's Association.
