To Mary Jo's family, I am very sorry for your loss. I worked with MJ at Hennepin County and just today was thinking I would go and visit her for her Birthday. MJ was my go to person when I needed help figuring out a case, she was calm and VERY practical. Mary Jo had a wonderful sense of humor, which I LOVED! She was also an excellent at completing the Star Tribune crossword. When MJ was diagnosed with cancer, she was just a trooper, just carried on doing what she needed to do. I can say that her verbal/social filter was lessened by the chemo - you always knew what she was thinking, she didn't hold back. Truly a wonderful person. I will miss her.
