Mary Olson Obituary
March 21, 1942 - May 19, 2025
Mary K. Olson (Krueger) of Madison started on her journey to Heaven at the age of 83, surrounded by her loving family. Mary was born in West Bend, Wis. She graduated from Washington High School in Milwaukee, Wis., and later earned her Bachelor's degree at UW Madison.
Loved by her husband of 49 years, Dennis Olson. Loving mother of Stephenie (Randall Rach) Cerns-Rach, Michael Cerns, and Robyn (Jerome) Mistele. Very proud grandmother of Samantha Rach and Emma Mistele.
Mary was preceded in death by her father, Theodore A. Krueger; mother, Audrey (Sonnenberg) Krueger; brothers, Kelly Krueger, Theodore "Wimpy" (Mary) Krueger, James (Angelita) Krueger; and sister, Renee Krueger.
Mary was an exceptional wife, mother, and grandmother. She loved family get-togethers, especially on holidays. She enjoyed traveling and visited Spain, Italy, Germany, England, Ireland, Amsterdam and Hawaii.
We would like to thank the Nurses and Doctors at UW Hospital for the excellent care she received.
Visitation Friday, May 23, 2025, from 12 p.m. until time of Memorial Service at 1 p.m. at the Cress Center, 6021 University Avenue, Madison, WI 53705. A Celebration of Life to follow for friends and family.
