Mary Estella Holliday Palmer, 89, of Central, passed away September 5, 2025.
Born in Pickens County, she was the daughter of the late Grady Holliday and Cora Gilstrap Holliday. Mrs. Palmer graduated from Six Mile High School then went on to work for Milliken, retiring as a Lab Technician. She enjoyed crocheting, watching preaching on TV, and tending to her flower garden. Mary was a member of Pleasant Hill Baptist Church.
She is survived by her children, Cheryl Allmon (Jerry) of West Union and Michael Palmer of Central; grandchildren, Christie Dawn Palmer and Dalton Michael Palmer.
Mrs. Palmer was predeceased by her parents; son, Donald Ray Palmer, siblings, Grady Hollilday, Jr. and Ruby Stancil.
The family will host a memorial service at a later date.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions can be made to Pleasant Hill Baptist Church, 3041 Six Mile Highway, Central, SC 29630.
