Mary Stanley Paschal, 84, passed away peacefully on Monday, October 16, 2023.
A funeral service will be held at 2:00 P.M. on Thursday October 19, 2023, at Wilkerson Funeral Home with Pastor Gordon Fisher officiating. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service at the funeral home and other times at the home of her son, Mike Paschal. A private family burial will follow the service.
Mary was born in Rockingham County to the late John Stanley Sr. and Myrtle Stanley, she was a faithful member of Reidsville Pentecostal Holiness Church for 61 years. She was a fiercely independent woman. Mary was an excellent bowler, loved riding her John Deere lawn mower and kept an immaculate yard. She was even able to mow as recently as 4 months ago. Most of all she loved her Lord and Savior. She will be dearly missed by her friends and family.
Along with her parents, she is preceded in death by her husband of 49 years, Wilbert O’Brien Paschal; sisters, Elberta Walker, Elizabeth Garner, and Laura Page; brothers, Robert Stanley, Franklin Stanley, and John Henry Stanley Jr.
Mary is survived by her son, Mike Paschal and wife, Barbara; sisters, Thelma McMillan, Linda Moore and husband, Kirby; grandchildren, Michael Paschal and wife, Courtney, Hannah Moore and husband, Russell, Joey Paschal and Fiancé, Jennifer; great grandchildren, Lucy, Oliver, and Daisy Paschal, Will, Case and Luke Moore as well as a large and loving group of extended family and friends.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made in her honor to Hospice of Rockingham County at PO Box 281 Wentworth NC 27375 or Reidsville Pentecostal Holiness Church in the care of Ruth Hart at 160 Bride Drive Reidsville, NC 27320.
