Mary Pauley Obituary
She was born October 24, 1947 in Wilmington, DE, daughter of the late Red and Maude Morrison Layne. She attended West Virginia State University and worked in business most of her working career. She loved spending time with her family. She also enjoyed crocheting and working in her garden.
She is survived by her husband, Steve Pauley; sons Gary (Jennifer) Pauley and James (Lisa) Pauley; daughter Stephanie (Jeremy) Carter; grandchildren, Cody Pauley and Wyatt Pauley, Morganne Phillips, Megan Pauley and Mason Pauley, Ryan Carter, Bentley Carter, Paislie Carter and Landyn Carter; great grandchildren, Lainey Pauley, Vander Phillips and Jude Phillips; cousins, Carolyn Layne and Jerry Layne.
In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by a grandson, Jaykob Carter.
A private graveside service for immediate family will be held at the Fairplain Cemetery, Ripley with Rob Bumpus officiating. Waybright Funeral Home, Ripley is serving the family.
