Mary Ruth Phillips

Mary Ruth Phillips, age 75, passed away peacefully on March 22, 2025. Born on November 11, 1949, to the late David Edgell and Violet Pace, and raised by her mother, Thelma "Nana" Edgell. Mary lived a life full of love, dedication, and service.
Mary is survived by her devoted husband of 49 years, Donald Phillips, and her beloved children, Dora, Darla, and David. She was a cherished grandmother and great-grandmother, leaving behind many grandchildren and great-grandchildren who will miss her dearly.
Mary was a pillar of her community, serving as the President of the Ladies Auxiliary of the Veterans of Foreign Wars for Post 9871 in North Ridgeville. Her leadership and commitment to supporting veterans and their families were deeply appreciated by all who knew her.
In addition to her community service, Mary had a wide array of hobbies that brought her joy and fulfillment. She was known for her creativity, kindness, and the warmth she shared with everyone around her.
Mary's legacy of love, service, and dedication will continue to inspire all who were fortunate enough to know her. She will be deeply missed but forever remembered in the hearts of her family and friends.
