Mary T. (Tulowiecki) Poplaski,100, of Liverpool, passed away on Monday. She was a communicant of St. Daniels Church in Syracuse, NY. Mary enjoyed traveling and reunions with members of the Basilone's Association. She was employed by NYS Motor Vehicle and NYS Department of Taxation and later owned her own photo ID business. Mary was a member of the Town of Salina Senior Group, a member of the St. Daniel Wisdom People, the Legion of Mary, an Honorary member of the Syracuse Stamp Club and was known as "Mom" to the Crew Members of the USS Basilone Association. She was predeceased by her loving husband, Henry E.; and all her brothers and sisters. Mary is survived by her two children, Barbara J. (William) Drake and Philip E. Poplaski; her three grandchildren, Tracy (Kevin) Haven, Brian (Karey) Drake and Julie Drake (Chris)Maynes; her six great-grandchildren, Anthony Burke, Laekin Haven, Derek Drake, Shane Sciortino, Ryder Haven, and Allison Drake and many nieces and nephews. Calling hours will be 4 pm to 7pm Sunday at the Carter Funeral Home, 1604 Grant Blvd, Syracuse. A Mass of Christian burial will be celebrated Monday 12pm at St. Daniels Church with burial to follow in Woodlawn Cemetery. Contributions may be made in Mary's honor to Father Lyons Fund at St. Daniels Church.
