Obituary For Mary Elizabeth QuickBear

Hampton - Mary Elizabeth (Jackson) QuickBear, a cherished daughter, mother, and friend, passed away peacefully on August 15, 2025, in Newport News, Virginia, at the age of 73. Born on November 1, 1951, in Memphis, Tennessee, she was the beloved daughter of the late James and Berniece (Riggins) Jackson.

Mary dedicated her life to service and excellence, both in her career and personal life. A proud U.S. Army Veteran, she served her country with honor and distinction. Following her military service, she continued to contribute to national security as a Military Analyst for the United States, where her insights and expertise were invaluable.

Mary pursued her academic ambitions with great dedication, earning a Master's Degree that not only furthered her career but also inspired those around her to strive for continuous learning and growth.

She is lovingly survived by her daughter, Briana QuickBear, along with a host of other family and friends who will miss her dearly. Her kindness, strength, and unwavering commitment to those she loved will be remembered always.

A current resident of Hampton, Virginia, Mary will be fondly remembered by all whose lives she touched. No services are planned at this time.
