Mary Lee Martin Reeves moved to her heavenly home at the age of 96 on August 18, 2025. Born on November 15, 1928, in Purdy, Arkansas; to Albert and Mamie Spradling Martin. Mary Lee graduated from Kingston High School and earned a business degree from Drummond College in Springfield Missouri. She retired from Ma Bell Telephone and worked at Huntsville Hospital and Chancellor's Drug Store. Mary Lee was a faithful Christian and member of the Phillips Chapel and Huntsville Freewill Baptist Churches for many years, and was Sunday school teacher for multiple generations. She was a strong leader and lived a Christian life of faith and example. She loved her family dearly, raising three wonderful boys and a lovely daughter. She was a 4H leader, Band Booster President for years, and devoted her time for family and friends. She enjoyed farming, horse riding, gardening, and traveling, especially all the years traveling with the HFWB youth choir. She was everyone's Memaw! In her 96 years, she experienced so many changes in life! She was preceded in death by her parents, Albert and Mamie Spradling Martin; her husband, Alton "Toby" Reeves; sons, Steve Alton and Mark Albert Reeves; and grandson, Caleb Albert Reeves; all of Huntsville, Arkansas; and son-in-law, Joel Phillip Church, of Rogers, Arkansas. She is survived by her son, Jeffery Lee Reeves(Sara); daughter, Vicki Reeves Church; and daughter-in-law, Charlinda Gurley Reeves; all of Huntsville, Arkansas; eight grandchildren; Curtis Reeves (Marcia), Ashley Reeves Waters (James Earl), Dakota Reeves (Brittanee), Bob (Robert) Reeves (Nicole), Lauren Reeves Vanhook (Andrew), Will Reeves (Kallie), Kevin Church (Devra), all of Huntsville, Arkansas; Shawn Church (Tammy), of Owasso, Oklahoma; and 15 great-grandchildren. Services are entrusted to Brashears Funeral Home and will be held at The Huntsville Freewill Baptist Church, Saturday, August 23, 10:00am with Eldon Bagwell, Roy Haffelder, and Jason Scott officiating. Pallbearers will be Kevin Church, Shawn Church, Bob Reeves, Will Reeves, Curtis Reeves, Andrew Vanhook, and James Earl Waters. Interment will immediately follow services at the Alabam Cemetery.
