Mary (Cadima) Rego, 83, of Fall River passed away Sunday, February 25th, 2024, at home.

    She was the widow of the late George Rego.

    Born in Fall River, she was the daughter of the late Augustine Cadima and Sophie (Simbro) Cadima.

    Before retiring, Mary was employed as a nurse aide for several years, and worked prior at Seal Sac Manufacturing. After her retirement, she worked as a teacher's aide for the Fall River School Department. She was a devoted mother and grandmother who treasured spending time with her family.

    Survivors include her children Wayne Rego, Jeffrey Rego, Mark Rego (spouse Paula), Susan Pouchon (spouse Josh), and Brian Rego (spouse Tracy); her sister Hilda Mathias; her grandchildren Adam Rego, Andrea Rego, Cory Correiro, and Michael Marzilli; several nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her siblings: Anna Megna, Edward Cadima and Manuel Cadima, Thomas Cadima, John Cadima, Joseph Cadima, Alice Figuerido, Lillian Collard, and Sophie Viveiros.

    A visitation will be held Thursday, February 29th, 2024, from 9:00 - 10:30 AM from the Oliveira Funeral Home – South Main St. Chapel, 2064 South Main St. Fall River, followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 11 AM at Holy Trinity Parish, Stafford Rd., Fall River. Interment will be in Newport Memorial Park, Middletown.
