Mary Virginia (Newton) Rich, age 84 of Somerville, Ohio passed away at Hospice of Hamilton on Saturday, October 25, 2025. Born on June 21, 1941 in Kentucky.
She had retired from Stearns in Camden, Ohio.
Member of Taylors Grove Baptist Church in Somerville, Ohio.
Preceded by her parents, William P. & Hazel (Wheeler) Newton; siblings, Margaret R. Helsley, William E. Newton and Earl P. Newton; son-in-law, John E. Messer; granddaughter, Samantha S. Smith.
Survived by her children, Brenda Messer, Bobbie Burdge, Beth Burdge, Brian Burdge; numerous grandchildren, great grandchildren, and great great grandchildren.
Funeral Services will be held at 1:00 P.M., Monday, November 3, 2025 at Taylors Grove Baptist Church, 12110 Co Hwy 227, Camden, Ohio with Pastor Steve Wright officiating. Interment will be held in Somerville Cemetery. Family will receive friends from 11:00 A.M. to 1:00 P.M. on Monday prior to the funeral at the church.
