Mary Jolene Rockefeller, 70, of McPherson, KS, peacefully passed away on Monday, March 2, 2026, surrounded by family at Ascension-Via Christi St. Francis Regional Medical Center, Wichita.
Mary was born as a triplet, along with Matt and Mark, on August 9, 1955, in McPherson, KS, the daughter of George Thomas and Gloria June (Hutchinson) Cook. She graduated from McPherson High School in 1973 and received her Dental Lab Technician certificate from Texas State Technical Institute in 1977. On December 13, 1974, Mary was united in marriage to Timothy James Rockefeller in Lawrence, KS. He preceded her in death on August 29, 2016.
She owned & operated Rockefeller Dental Lab since 1992 and was a dental lab technician for over 40 years.
Survivors include her three children, Callie Rockefeller (Oscar Armbruster) of Haysville, KS, Emily Bartlett (Cody) of McPherson, KS, and James Rockefeller (Brittnay) of Hutchinson, KS; siblings, Gary Cook (Pat) of Washington and Georgia Premer (Gale) of Hutchinson, KS; eight grandchildren, Xia Rockefeller, Amelia Armbruster, Maxwell Armbruster, Adelaide Armbruster, Augustus Armbruster, Norah Bartlett, Ellis Bartlett, and Winona Rockefeller; and many extended relatives and friends.
She was preceded in death by her parents, George & Gloria Cook; husband, Tim Rockefeller; and siblings, Matt Cook and Mark Cook.
A celebration of life (come & go) will be held from 5:00 PM until 7:00 PM, Tuesday, March 10, 2026, at Stockham Family Funeral Home. A private burial will be held at McPherson Cemetery.
Memorial donations may be given to the Susan G. Komen Foundation in care of Stockham Family Funeral Home, 205 North Chestnut, McPherson, KS 67460.
