Mary Ann Sabol, of Creekside, passed away on Tuesday, October 21, 2025. She was born in Creekside to the late George and Julia (Raymond) Sabol.

She was a devout Catholic and a member of St. Bernard of Clairvaux Catholic Church in Indiana. Mary Ann was a member of The Catholic Daughters of America, The National Slovak Society; a past member of the Legion of Mary, and a past member of Birthright of Indiana. She also participated each year in the March for Life in Indiana.

Mary Ann liked to read, do crossword puzzles, and eat out.

She will be remembered for praying the Rosary and taking the most Holy Eucharist to all catholic residents in all of the nursing homes in Indiana.

Mary Ann graduated from Indiana High School and worked for a law firm in Indiana and Pittsburgh for many years. She also worked at St. Andrew's Nursing home in Indiana.

She is survived by her sister: Betty Sabol, of Creekside; a niece: Diane (Gary) Weaver, of Indiana and their children: Brandon (Emily) Weaver, of Vermont and their daughter: Eleanor. Brittany (Todd) Weaver Reay, of White Oak; and her nephew: William (Tami) Ward, of Ohio and their children: Jennifer (Zack) Troyer, of Ohio and Christopher (Brittney) Ward, of Ohio and their son, Christian; and her niece: Nancy (Tom) Schrecengost, of Manheim and their children: Kevin and Jimmy Schrecengost, also of Manheim.

In addition to her parents, Mary Ann was predeceased by an infant sister; her sister: Helen Sabol Ward and a brother- in law: William T. Ward.

Memorial donation can be made to the Catholic Daughters of America (#339) at :200 Clairvaux Drive, Indiana, PA 15701 or The Spirit of Medjugorje at: PO Box 6614, Erie, PA 16512.

Services were private and held at the convenience of the family. Mary Ann was laid to rest at St. Bernard Cemetery.
