Mary A. Sackin

Mary A. Sackin, 100, passed away the morning of December 12, 2025 at Briarfield Manor in Austintown, Ohio.
Born in Lowellville, Ohio on December 8, 1925, Mary was the daughter of the late John and Mary Paludetto Stefano.
On June 17, 1950 Mary married her beloved husband, Andy Sackin. Andy preceded her in death on May 12, 2004.
Mary was a member of St. Lawrence Church. She enjoyed going to Bingo, playing cards and board games, crocheting, taking walks and baking. A loving mother, grandmother and great-grandmother, Mary's greatest joy was the time she spent with her family.
Mary is survived by her six children, Andrea DiBacco (Barry), John Sackin (Laura), Mark Sackin (Diane Nord), Tina Stambul (John), Joseph Sackin (Karen) and Mary Jo Sipes (Paul), twelve grandchildren, thirteen great grandchildren and many nieces and nephews.
In addition to her parents and husband, Mary was preceded in death by nine siblings.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Tuesday at 10:30 a.m. at Holy Spirit Parish, St. Mary's Church. Father Benjamin Barr will officiate. Burial will be in St. Lawrence Cemetery. Arrangements have been entrusted to the Ed & Don DeCarbo Funeral Home & Crematory, 941 S. Mill St.
