Mary Salazar

Mary Salazar was born Mary Carreon to parents Jesus and Santos Carreon on August 11th, 1935, in San Antonio, Texas. She peacefully went on to be with our Lord on September 25, 2025. Mary was married to Rudy C. Salazar Jr. on May 6, 1954. Together they had 2 sons whom they loved dearly. For much of her working life, Mary worked for Kelly Air Force Base in warehouse operations. Mary is remembered for her kind spirit, caring nature, and her devotion to her faith. She was a pillar for her family and was always there for them when they needed her the most. Those that were blessed with knowing Mary knew they always had someone to count on. Mary is preceded in death by her husband, Rudy C. Salazar Jr.; her parents, Jesus and Santos Carreon; her son, Richard Salazar; her sisters, Bertha Adame and Irene Ramirez; and her brothers, Joe Carreon and Jesse Carreon. Mary is survived by her son, Rudy Salazar III and his wife, Yolanda; her sister, Janie Mayen, and many other beloved family members and friends. She will be missed dearly.
