I am Dick's cousin, and I was honored to be a groomsman at Dick and Mary Lou's
wedding. There was never any doubt about that marriage. Their love for each other was always apparent to Rita and me. We know that Dick will cope with Mary Lou's passing but all of us will grieve with him. We pray for her, but such a sweet and gentle soul must be praying for us in heaven!

Marylou was one of sweetest ladies o have had the pleasure to know. As parents she and Dick were so instrumental in my first years at North Bend. Dick was a true teacher´s school board member. Leading by example we felt respected and appreciated. Marylou would substitute from time to time and was a delight to work with. We spent a few months working together when she filled in for the music teacher. So much fun. Their love was one from a fairytale. Always together, holding hands, and sitting close in their pickup. Special people with a special bond. She will be dearly missed by all who were graced by her presence. God bless and sweet music to lead her to God´s hands. Love to the family.

Mary was quite a person, brave is a better word for trying to teach a bunch of bratty kids at school. I appreciated her patience.
