Mrs. Mary Beth (Otto) Schweinhart, age 66, of the South End of Louisville returned to her Heavenly Father on March 3, 2025. Mrs. Schweinhart was born on May 6, 1958, in Louisville, KY to the late Herbert and Geneva (Schnell) Otto. She worked with Jefferson County Public Schools in food services and retired from Cox's Pharmacy as a clerk. Mrs. Schweinhart was a member of St. Luke Catholic Church. She enjoyed doing volunteer work within the community and especially loved spending time with her grandchildren. Among those that preceded her in death are her parents, and siblings, William Otto, Steven Otto, and Kathy Morgan.
She leaves to cherish her memory her loving husband of 40 years, Eddie Schweinhart; daughters, Jessica Lott (Skyler) and Angela Smith (Dylan); grandchildren, Colten, Emery, and Caroline; siblings, Carlene Smothers, Emily Watts (John), and Thomas Otto; and a host of family and friends.
Funeral service will be conducted at 12 pm on Saturday, March 8, 2025, in the chapel of Schoppenhorst, Underwood and Brooks Funeral Home (Preston Highway at Brooks Road) with interment in Mt. Holly Cemetery. Family and friends may pay their respects on Friday from 2-8 pm and Saturday from 10 am until the time of the service at the funeral home. Expressions of sympathy may be made to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital.
