Mary Ann Seddon, age 79 of Munhall, Pennsylvania passed away peacefully on July 7, 2024
with her family at her bedside. Mary was born on September 8, 1944, in Braddock,
Pennsylvania to the late Donald and Gertrude (Wessel) Trovy.
Mary lived in Munhall, Pennsylvania for most of her life and had recently been a resident at
Canterbury Place since December of 2022. Her family would like to thank the staff at
Canterbury for all their kindness and caring. Mary enjoyed her stay in Canterbury and it became
her last home until she was called home to heaven. We would also like to thank Community Life
for their coordination of care for Mary during her last few years of life.
Mary is preceded in death by her sisters, Geraldine Johnson and Donna Trovy, and her brothers
Joseph Trovy and Charlies "Junior" Johnson. She is survived by her daughter, Donna Colucci
and son, Richard Seddon, her brother Frank Trovy, her two grandchildren, Anthony and Isabella
Colucci. She is also survived by her nieces and nephews Dan, Kayla and Donald.
Mary worked for the McDonald's Corporation for many years. She was also employed by St.
John Mark Lutheran Church as a sexton. She enjoyed bowling and was involved in several
bowling leagues during her lifetime. She bragged about her many high scores over the years.
Mary was an avid crocheter, making so many beautiful Afghans for friends and family over her
lifetime. She also enjoyed spending time with her two grandchildren whom she loved dearly. Her
grandchildren lovingly referred to Mary as Boo Boo. Anthony and Isabella will dearly miss their
Boo Boo.
Visitation will be at St. John Mark Lutheran Church, 225 East 10 th Avenue, Homestead,
Pennsylvania from 11:00AM-12:00PM on Saturday, July 20, 2024, with a service immediately
following. A light lunch will follow the service downstairs in the church hall. Thank you to Hahn
