Mary Seiple Obituary

Published by Legacy on Oct. 1, 2025.
Mary Frances (Clites) Seiple, 76, of Windsor, PA, formerly of Cumberland, MD, passed away peacefully on August 24, 2025.
She was born on November 25, 1948, the daughter of the late Clarence and Catherine Clites. On November 28, 1964, she married her devoted husband, Dean James Seiple, Sr., with whom she shared 60 years of marriage.
Mary was the proud mother of Marcie Deanna Walker, Dean James Seiple Jr. (wife Susan), and Chad Berton Seiple. She was blessed with grandchildren who brought her endless joy: Dakota Seiple (wife Amelia), Savannah Seiple, Autumn Seiple, Christian Seiple, Willow Walker, London Walker (wife Megan), and a great-grandbaby on the way.
She is survived by her siblings Thomas Clites (wife Kathy), Elmer Clites, Clarence Clites Jr. (wife Goldie), Wanda Leiphart, and Shirley Gates, (husband Jack) along with many nieces and nephews.
Mary worked for many years in retail management, including with Payless Shoe Source and Goodwill. She was known for her strong work ethic, friendly spirit, and the way she made both customers and coworkers feel like family.
A woman of many passions, Mary loved all things southern, as well as Native American heritage, wolves, Elvis, John Wayne, Dale Earnhardt, racing, and country music. She found joy in family gatherings, holidays, thrift shopping, and spending time with friends. She also had a deep love for animals, especially her beloved grand-dog, Ezra.
Her close friends, James and Clara Poindexter, were like family and shared many cherished memories with her over the years.
Above all, Mary will be remembered for her devotion to her family, her generous heart, her joyful holiday celebrations, as well as always looking after everyone. Her legacy of love and strength will live on through all who knew her.
A celebration of Mary's life will be held at a future date.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to 2nd Chance 4 Life Rescue, located at 737 Taylor Road, Windsor, PA.
