Mary E Sessler

Mary Elisabeth Sessler – Born in Stockton, CA on April 10, 1938 entered into rest July 22, 2025 in Saratoga, CA. Beloved daughter of Edward Francis Williams and Marie Jellence Williams, she was the wife of Carl William Sessler; sister to the late Edward Francis Williams Jr.; mother to Mark Christopher Buchanan and Matthew Edward Buchanan; and grandmother to Jessica Marie Buchanan. From her marriage with Carl, she was blessed with three more sons, Rob Sessler, Clint Sessler, and Chris Sessler, and their families. Cousins from her uncle John Williams' family include Sue Williams, Dorsey Williams, Gregory Williams, and Nancy Williams. Cousins from her uncle Mark's family include Carol Williams, Ellen Williams, and Elaine Williams. Cousins from her uncle Roger's family include Michael Williams, Jeff Williams, and David Williams. Her uncle Joel served 20 years in the US Army, and did not have children of his own. Other beloved uncles include Emil Jellence and Mike Farrell. From these relations, came many more relatives making a large extended family.

Mary was a 55 year resident of Saratoga, CA., and served as an elementary school teacher in the Cupertino Union School District for 33 years. She made friends with many families from teaching, and her associations with local clubs including Saratoga Foothill Club, and the American Association of University Women. Throughout her life she especially enjoyed the laughter of children.

Mary raised her own children in connection with Church of the Ascension in Saratoga. Her final resting place is Madronia Cemetery in Saratoga. Services were held on July 31, 2025.
