I was literally just thinking of you yesterday and got on Mom's Facebook as I do every morning since she passed and saw it was your birthday. I was heartbroken to see of your passing only a month to the day before I lost Mom. You and Chuck were the best neighbors at Parklawn. We would knock on the wall to each other if we heard the other in the bathroom to say good morning. Then we did that on the upstairs landing and when I tried to stomp my musical knock back wearing high heels I fell down the stairs. I can only imagine what you heard! You came over to make sure I was okay and we couldn't stop laughing. We gossiped about my crushes in school. When my dog was in her last hours, you rushed me to the vet to try to save her. You were like the big sister I never had and always had a smile and infectious laugh. You were too young to be gone. The only solace I take as I type through tears on your birthday is that Mom had an extra friend in heaven waiting to greet her and give her a big hug. Wishing Chuck, your family and friends the comfort of happy times even though for a long time they may bring tears.
