Aiken, SC—A celebration of life service for Mrs. Mary Ashley Sharpe, age 82, will be held 11:00 am on Tuesday September 16, 2025, at Unity Holiness Church with Pastor James Robert Sharpe officiating. Interment will follow at Aiken Memorial Gardens. Pallbearers will be Jeff Brown, Bobby Anderson, Will Sharpe, Nelson Gonzalez, Brandon Barnes, Carson Rodgers, Miguel Negrete, and Ricky Marguez. Mrs. Sharpe entered into rest on Thursday September 11, 2025, at her residence. She was the beloved wife of the late Mr. James Albert Sharpe and a daughter to the late Mr. Charles Ferrell Ashley and the late Mrs. Lottie Mae Barton Ashley. Mrs. Sharpe was a native and lifelong resident of Aiken. She was a Christian and was a member of the Unity Holiness Church. Mrs. Sharpe worked at McCroys on Laurens as well as the Aiken County School District for a few years. Her hobbies included working in the yard and being with her grandchildren. She was loved by her friends and family and will be deeply missed. Survivors include: two sons Rev. James (Bunnie) Robert Sharpe, Aiken, and William (Elba) Sharpe, Ridge Spring; three daughters Karen (Jeffrey) Brown, Aiken, Donna (Bobby) Anderson, Aiken, and Audrey Lynn Sharpe, Aiken; 13 grandchildren; and 21 great grandchildren. Mrs. Sharpe was preceded in death by: five brothers Barry, Larry, Walter, CJ, and Aubron Ashley; and two sisters Eva Edge and Jenny Rauton.
