Mary Sidler

Mary Sidler (Homerding), age 78, a longtime resident of Frankfort, passed away on Tuesday, August 2, 2022. Loving wife of the late Dennis Sidler; beloved mother of Patricia (John) Barthel and Dennis (Amy) Sidler, Jr.; dearest daughter of the late Harold and Louise (Rauch) Homerding; fond sister of Lois (late Dean) Hawkins and the late Harold (late Helen) Homerding; cherished grandmother of John Barthel III, Jeremy Barthel, Ivie Sidler and Ryne Sidler. Mary worked for Federal Signal in University Park for 38 years. She was a member of Good Shepherd Lutheran Church and the Widows Club in Frankfort. Mary will be remembered for her Christmas cookies and the decorated cakes she made for family and friends. She was an avid reader. Above all Mary loved her family and was a loving wife, mother and grandmother. A memorial visitation will be held at Good Shepherd Lutheran Church 177 Luther Lane, Frankfort IL 60423 on Thursday, August 11, 2022, from 10:00 AM until 11:00 AM, with a memorial service at 11:00 AM. In lieu of flowers memorial donations in Mary's name to the American Cancer Society would be appreciated.
