Mary Josephine Sill, née Iwersen, beloved mother, grandmother, and devoted follower of Jesus Christ, passed away on November 24, 2025, at the age of 77. Born on April 7, 1948, in Omaha, Nebraska, Mary spent most of her life in the Kansas City area, where she built a loving home for her family and touched countless lives through her faith, kindness, and compassion.

A woman of deep Christian faith, Mary lived her life guided by the teachings of Jesus Christ. Her optimism was both remarkable and unwavering—she approached every challenge with hope and positivity, including her courageous battle with the cancer that ultimately took her life. Her strength, grace, and joyful spirit remained evident to all who knew her.

Mary devoted herself first and foremost to raising her three sons, who were the pride of her life. Alongside her dedication to her family, she enjoyed a long and varied career in healthcare, law, and education, where she was known for her integrity, empathy, and steady presence.

She is survived by her sons, Todd Abrajano and his wife Melanie, and their children Evan and Isla; Eric Sill; and Matthew Sill and his wife Jackie, and their children Amelia and Nathaniel. Mary cherished her family deeply, finding immense joy in her grandchildren, who brightened her life immeasurably.

Mary will be remembered for her faith, her resilience, and her boundless optimism. Her legacy lives on in the hearts of her family and all who were blessed to know her.
