She was preceded in death by; 1st husband; Bruce Trent, daughter; Linda Simpson, son; David Trent, step-daughter; Betty Geel, grandson; Allen Simpson, parents; Worley and Ruth Delph Begley, 6 sisters, 1 brother, 1 half-sister, 1 half-brother, several nieces, nephews, and cousins.
She is survived by her husband of 43 yrs; Vinson Simpson, 3 sons; Gale (Jane) Trent, Jamie (Shannon) Trent, Danny Lee Trent, step-daughter; Theresa (Don) Byrd, 2 half-sisters; Bonnie Watkins, Diana (Hugh) Minor, 10 grandchildren, 6 great grandchildren, several nieces and nephews, special caregiver and granddaughter; Carlie Trent.
Graveside services will be 2:00 pm Sunday (12/21/25) at Dean Cemetery in Poor Valley with Rev. Rex Cole and honorary minister; Rev. Glen Bradley officiating. Music will be provided by Tim and Tina Morgan.
Christian-Sells Funeral Home is serving the Simpson family.
