Mary Slocum-Chebo Obituary
Mary Jane's life was defined by her unwavering commitment to others. A proud and dedicated member of Alcoholics Anonymous for over 47 years, she served as a pillar of support and a cherished friend for countless individuals on the road to recovery. She deeply valued the bonds formed within the program and was always available to offer guidance, hope, and a helping hand to those in need. Her legacy of service will continue to inspire the many lives she touched.
She is survived by her devoted husband, Brian Chebo, and her loving daughters, Dienne (Todd) Hatch (née Mickey) and Nancy (Curtis) Mickey-Masavage.
Mary Jane was a cherished grandmother to Amanda (Tyler), Desirea, Kristie, Nick, Torie, Donny, Jack and Caroline. She was a proud great-grandmother to Autumn, Ryan, Hannah, Reagan, and Leah.
She also leaves behind her siblings, Bill and Charlotte, along with 13 nieces and nephews and a large community of cousins. Mary Jane was preceded in death by her siblings, Nancy and Charles "Bucko".
Visitation Family and friends are invited to gather on Wednesday, March 18, 2026, from 2:00 PM – 4:00 PM and 6:00 PM – 8:00 PM at Monreal Srnick Funeral Home, 35400 Curtis Blvd, Eastlake, OH 44095.
A Funeral Service will be held at the funeral home on Thursday, March 19, 2026, at 10:00 AM.
Mary Jane will be laid to rest at All Souls Cemetery in Chardon, Ohio.

I am so sorry to hear Mary Jane passed away. My prayers go out to to her family, friends, and loved ones.
She welcomed me with open arms when I first came back for a visit to Ohio. RIP Mary Jane!

I am so saddened to hear about Mary´s passing. I knew her from the Sunday AA meeting. She was such a beautiful and kind lady. She had a smile that would light up the whole room! Lately she was looking so frail but she never complained. I will miss her terribly. May she rest in peace. My condolences to her family. She will always be in my thoughts and prayers.
