Mary Ann Sneed extraordinary baker, gardener, comedian, loving mother, grams, sister, aunt, and best friend died peacefully surrounded by her family on Thursday, November 9, 2023 at the St. James Living Center, she eas 78.
Mary Ann was born on December 19, 1944 in Topeka, Kansas to the late Edward and Mildred Rose (Stull) Corwin.
Her homemade baking skills are still the conversation during family gatherings, everyone couldn't wait for her to bring out her pies especially her peanut butter pie. She had perfected her green thumb by way of growing flowers which always flourished under her care.
Bigger than life, Mary Ann spent most of her days blessing everyone with her
ginormous heart and one-of-a-kind personality.
She and her grandchildren created a special bond. She loved taking them to horse auctions and on road trips. She cherished this time and was able to become the best version of herself any of us had ever seen. She was a comedian keeping all of us laughing and on our toes. She loved decorating for holidays and her house would come alive with energy, love, and tons of laughs.
She loved expressing herself and was never afraid to just be herself. That's one of the things Mary Ann was adored for. Her outgoing, funny, crazy, spunky and loving personality. If you ever needed anyone, she was a call away and never had any hesitation.
She loved music and would blast it with the windows down, whether it was snow or shine. Her favorite artists were Elvis, Tina Turner, and Bob Seger. She believed she "Did it her way". She adored and loved all animals, especially dogs and horses. and least not forget, she loved, loved Wal-Mart, she could
spend hours going down every isle, especially the dog treats.
As you can see, Mary Ann was an extraordinary woman, she will be missed, but
absolutely NOT forgotten by her family and friends. Stories of our beloved Mary Ann will be shared for all generations to come.
