Mary was born on October 15, 1945 and passed away on Saturday, November 5, 2016. Mary was a resident of Douglasville, Georgia at the time of her passing. She was married to Reverend Darrell R. Strickland, Sr. A Funeral Service will be held at 1:00 PM on Tuesday, November 8, 2016 at Friendship Baptist Church, 9400 Highway 166, Winston, Georgia 30187, with Reverend Eric Evans and Reverend Mike Mallory officiating. She will lie in state from 12:00 PM until 1:00 PM on Tuesday at the Church. Interment will follow in the church cemetery. The family will receive friends on Monday, November 7, 2016 from 1:00 PM until 8:00 PM at the funeral home.
