Mary Naomi Stroud, 88 of Dover, passed away on Friday, September 26, 2025 at her home in Dover. She was preceded in death by her husband, Harold W. Stroud; parents, Troy and Ruby Hicks and Mary Perkins; sons-in-law, Randy Collins, Will Roberds; grandsons, Freddy W. Mears, Michael S. Wells; granddaughters, Katherin Mears, Mandee Hinman, Jennifer Hinman; sisters, Pat Davis, Emaline Hicks, Peggy Hicks, Ellen Hicks and brothers, Dwight Perkins, Jay Hicks and Charles Hicks.

Survivors include her children, Bill and Robin Taylor, Peggy and Vance Price, Cindy and Jim Whitley, Lynn Mears, Ella Collins, Ruby and Kenneth Hinman, Wayne Stroud, Suzi and Bill George, Betty Colvin; brothers and sisters, Linda Fay, Caroline, Joyce, Danny, David, Johnny; twenty four grandchildren; forty four great grandchildren; nineteen great great grandchildren and her friend, Reba Coffee.

Nona loved visiting with her family and having big family dinners. She used to enjoy yard sales and auctions, gardening, watching John Wayne movies, listening to John Fogerty and reading her Bible.

The family would like to thank everyone that has offered condolences and prayers. A special thank you to Ashley and Debbie for the wonderful care they took with mom, and Shannon for reading the Bible every week when mom couldn't read it for herself.

No flowers or cards will be needed and there will not be a service.
