Mary Catherine Tallon,86, of Dayton, passed away on March 7, 2025 at St. Elizabeth, Fort Thomas, KY. Mary worked many years as a cafeteria attendant for Newport Public Schools and spent 17 years working as a cook for the Loyal Cafe in Bellevue, KY. She was widely involved within her community, serving as a Cub Scout Den Mother and President of the Women's Loyal Booster Club. Mary was a former member of St. Anthony Parish and a current member of Divine Mercy Parish. She also enjoyed playing cards and spending time with her family.
She was preceded in death by mother, Evelyn Thomas, father, Edward Thomas, and husband, Lester Tallon.
Mary is survived by her daughters, Brenda Scott and Carol (Lynn) Duff, sons, Steven Tallon, Gary (Teri) Tallon, Joseph (Peggy) Tallon, Mike (Dianna) Tallon, Chris (Lisa) Tallon, Andrew Tallon, 16 grandchildren, 19 great grandchildren, 2 great-great-grandchildren, and a host of other family and friends who will miss her deeply.
Visitation will be held 10:00 am to 12:00 pm, Thursday, March 13, 2025 at Dobbling, Muehlenkamp-Erschell Funeral Home, 241 Fairfield Ave. Bellevue, KY. Mass of Christian Burial will be held 12:30 pm Thursday, at the Divine Mercy Parish in Bellevue. Burial will take place in the St. Stephen Cemetery immediately following Mass.
Memorials are suggested to the St. Jude Children's Research Hospital or the American Diabetes Association. Online condolences can be given at www.dmefuneral.com.
