Mary Frances Teague, age 88, of Rising Star, passed away peacefully on Tuesday, November 11, 2025. A Memorial Service will be held in the Activity Center of the First Baptist Church in Rising Star, Thursday 1:00 PM, November 20, 2025.
Mary was born August 5, 1937, in Rising Star, Texas to Nellie Frances Allen. On June 3, 1953, she married her loving husband, Wayne Milton Teague. Mary attended school in Rising Star as a child. She worked at Bibby's Creations Factory and was also a homemaker. Mary attended First Baptist Church in Rising Star. She enjoyed playing bingo, spending time with her grandchildren, and watching sports. She attended every Wildcat game.
Mary is survived by her two daughters, Inell Brown of Rising Star, and Nelda Breault of Brownwood; daughter in law, Pansy Teague of May; and sister in-law Sandra Gilliland of Cleburne. They were also blessed with 14 grandchildren, 31 great grandchildren, 3 great-great grandchildren, and numerous nieces and nephews.
Mary was preceded in death by her mother, Nellie Frances Allen; her husband, Wayne Milton Teague; her son, Dennis Dewayne Teague; her daughters, Renee Hunter and Rhonda Teague.
