Mary Lee Thomson, age 65, passed away on Wednesday, December 17, 2025.

Mary was born on July 28, 1960, in Buffalo, New York, to the late Stephen and Adele Tucker.

From an early age, Mary’s vibrant personality and infectious spirit were impossible to miss. She was truly the life of the party and the center of attention wherever she went, drawing people in with her laughter, kindness, and genuine love for others. Mary had a gift for making everyone feel welcome and valued, and she was known as the person you could always count on. The one who showed up, helped without hesitation, and gave from her heart.

Above all, Mary loved her family. Her children and grandchildren were her greatest pride and joy, and she treasured every moment spent with them. Whether celebrating milestones, sharing stories, or simply being together, Mary’s love was constant, fierce, and unconditional.

Mary was preceded in death by her beloved husband of 28 years, Jack Thomson; her parents, Stephen and Adele Tucker; her brother, Stevie Tucker; and her daughter, Jacqueline Thomson.

Her memory will be forever cherished by her children; Terry Yawn (Margaret), John Thomson, and Elizabeth Thomson, grandchildren; Timothy Yawn (Olivia), Carter Yawn, Reeves Thomson, McCann Hartwell, Maggie Thomson, Nolan Hartwell, Jackie Hartwell, Gigi Thomson, and Mary Caroline Thomson, her loving boyfriend, Alton Meadows, her siblings; Alex Tucker, Glenn Tucker, Thomas Jefferson Tucker, William, Cary, Darryl, Kevin, and Timothy Jablonski; her mother-in-law, Peggy Thomson, and her sisters-in-law, Kathy Thomson and Gail Thomson. She also leaves behind many extended family members and friends who were blessed to know her and will carry her memory forward.

Mary’s legacy is one of love, generosity, laughter, and unwavering devotion to family. Though she will be deeply missed, her spirit will live on in the countless lives she touched and the beautiful memories she leaves behind.

A Memorial Gathering will be held Saturday, December 20, 2025, at 11:00 a.m. at McCullough Funeral Home.
