Obituary of Mary Ann Trepczynski
Mary Ann (Scalzi) Trepczynski age 81, of Lapeer, (formerly of Warren), passed away peacefully on February 3, 2023 at home.
Mary was born in Highland Park, MI to George and Angeline Scalzi on March 21, 1941. Mary had a great fondness for all animals especially dogs and cats. She loved to cook, decorate, collect antiques and most of all loved to shop.
She is survived by her devoted husband and caregiver Richard, of almost 50 years; grandchildren, Jessica, Maria, Reed, Rachel and Chayse; great grandchildren, Liliana, Jianna and Leonardo; brother, Jerome and sister, Carol; brothers-in-law, Vincent and Jimmy; sisters-in-law, Helen and Suzanne; as well as many nieces and nephews. Mary was preceded in death by her parents, George and Angeline (Polovich) Scalzi, brother George; children, Robert, Ronald and Karen Outland and Richard Trepczynski Jr; brother-in-law, Ronald; sisters-in-law, Louise, Dorothy and Barbara.
Mary's wishes were to be cremated and a celebration of her life will be held in the spring. She will be laid to rest at White Chapel Cemetery in Troy. Arrangements entrusted to Jansen Family Funeral Home in Columbiaville. Memorial contributions in memory of Mary may be made to Paradise Animal Rescue, Shriners Hospital for Children or St. Jude Children's Research Hospital.
