Mrs. Mary Anne Trimble

Funeral services for Mrs. Mary Anne Trimble, 91, of Joinerville, will be held at 10:00 AM on Monday, December 30, 2024, in the chapel at Crawford-A. Crim Funeral Home with Rev. Chad Hlavaty officiating. Interment will follow at Mt. Hope Cemetery under the direction of Crawford-A. Crim Funeral Home.
The family will receive friends from 6-8 PM on Sunday, December 29, at the funeral home.
Mrs. Trimble went home to be with her Savior on December 25, 2024. She was born January 3, 1933, in Henderson and lived most all of her life in Rusk County. She graduated from Gaston High School and went on to Tyler Junior College before receiving her Bachelor's degree from Stephen F. Austin State University. Early in her career, Mrs. Trimble taught music in Gaston, New London and Tatum. She then joined the US Postal Service and was later named the Postmaster for the Joinerville Post Office, a position she held until her retirement in 2011 after 46 years of service.
Mary Anne was a member of the Mt. Hope Cumberland Presbyterian Church for 90 years. She was the most unselfish person with a heart as big as Texas. She was also an animal person and enjoyed taking care of her birds and working with her plants. Perhaps above all, Mrs. Trimble was a devoted wife and mother and an adoring grandmother.
She was preceded in death by her mother Ida Sue Hawthorne, husband of 43 years Billy Bob Trimble, brother William Hawthorne, sister Francis Sue Hawthorne, and her nephew David Brown.
Survivors include her children, Kathy Hlavaty and husband Donnie of Joinerville, and Bill Trimble and wife Karen of Bentonville, Arkansas; grandchildren, Chad Hlavaty and wife Kaylah of Joinerville, Cassidy Walker and husband Alex of Kilgore, Ariel Russell and husband Cooper of Fayetteville, Arkansas, and Jeremiah Trimble of Bentonville, Arkansas; great-grandchildren, Katie Hlavaty of Joinerville, Elizabeth Walker of Kilgore, and Callie Kay Hlavaty of Joinerville; special nephew and niece, Danny Brown of Longview, and Debbie Wade-Meyer and husband David of Austin; as well as a host of other family and friends. The family would also like to express their sincere appreciation to the staff and caregivers at Autumn Leaves Nursing and Rehab.
Pallbearers will be James Deason, Chris Cavalier, Donnie Hlavaty, Alex Walker, Jeremiah Trimble, and Danny Brown. Honorary pallbearers will be John Henson, Roy Davis, Jeff Brown, and Joe Dan Brown.
