Mary Margaret Tully
February 26, 1940 – August 24, 2025
Mary Margaret Tully, a lifelong lover of animals and cherished friend to many, passed away peacefully on August 24, 2025, at the age of 85.
Born in the Bronx, New York, on February 26, 1940, Mary Margaret was a proud graduate of St. Helena's High School. She went on to dedicate her professional life as an Executive Assistant working with a Medical Director at a Jewish Home for the Aged and Elderly where her kindness and dedication touched countless lives.
Mary Margaret's deep affection for animals-especially cats-was a defining part of who she was. Her gentle spirit and nurturing heart made her a beloved figure among both two-legged and four-legged friends.
She was predeceased by her loving Mother, Margaret (Haughey) Tully; her Father, Timothy A. Tully; and her dear Brother, Joseph Tully. She leaves behind several devoted cousins in the U.S. as well as in Ireland; and her treasured childhood friend, Mary Jane Wood, who remained a constant presence in her life.
Mary Margaret will be remembered for her warmth, her quiet strength, and the love she gave so freely. She will be deeply missed, forever loved, and always held close in the hearts of those who knew her.
