Mary Helen Sipe Vasquez, 89, passed on February 4, 2026.

Mary Helen was known to many as Aunt Coco or Nanny Coco.
She was a devoted mother, sister, aunt, grandmother and friend. She took pride in caring for those around her. She lived with her daughter, DeeDee, where she spent her later years surrounded by family and love. She was a kind, generous, strong, and capable woman with an unwavering work ethic and sharp sense of humor. She had a way of showing up for others—with practicality, warmth, and a deep well of love. Throughout her life, Mary wore many hats. She was a nurse and a seamstress, roles that reflected her caring nature and skilled hands. She loved to fish, sew, cook, babysit, and tell stories—often sharing memories that made people laugh and feel connected. Her greatest joy was her family, and the time she spent with them meant everything to her. She was deeply loved and will be profoundly missed by all who knew her. She leaves behind a legacy of love, resilience, and quiet strength that will live on through her family and the many lives she touched.
Mary Helen is preceded in death by parents Pedro Ramirez, Sr. and wife Trinidad Ramirez; brothers Manuel Ramirez, Pedro Ramirez, Jr., Alex Ramirez, Ramiro Ramirez and sister Clara Ramirez.
