Our wonderful Sister, Aunt and Friend passed away on Tuesday , January 27, 2026. She was a graduate of Western Highschool in Auburn, Michigan. She retired in 2024 from Dupont in Midland, Michigan. Rachel will be remembered for her joy of life, love of her family, her many trips with her sisters and friends ,especially her latest trip to New York to see the Tigers play the Yankees. She loved to plan fun parties with the help of her brother Steve, they gave the greatest parties for our family events.
She was born to the late Estevan Sr. and Maria Vasquez who preceded her in death along with her brother Alejandro (Hondo) Vasquez. She is survived by her 6 sisters and 3 brothers: Rose Vasquez, Mercy Vasquez, Estella Vasquez( Jesse Delgadillo), Yolanda Vela (Jose), Delia Montoya( Antonio) , Betty Lopez (Duke), Steve Vasquez (Jill ) , Tony Vasquez (Tammy), Johnny Vasquez (Mimi). She will be lovingly remembered by her many special nieces and nephews, her godchild Hondo Vasquez, and special friend Jodi Burch. Funeral Services will be held Wednesday, April 8,2026 at Corpus Christi Parish with visitation at 10:00 am until time of Mass. Cremation has taken place.
