Mary Veale Obituary
Kitty was born on May 17, 1926 in Healdton, Oklahoma to the late Roy Neville and Constance (Berryman) Bean. Kitty grew up in Houston TX. She was an art major at the University of Houston and TCU. She was a war bride married to Louis T. Statton (who was killed on January 29, 1945).
Tom was born in April 1945 and Debbie was born 1951 making the family unit complete. She married J.B. Veale, Jr. in 1947; and they spent the next 45 years entertaining many friends in their beautifully decorated homes. Kitty loved to journal and wrote about her adventures which she shared in great detail. She loved books, art, painting, decorating, cooking, sewing, all crafts and needlework and shared her talents with friends and family. She taught classes in tole painting, purse making, hospitality and teapots. She woke up every morning, drinking her first cup of tea and devotion time and conversations with God. Her last church membership was the First Baptist Church in Graham.
Survivors include; son, Thomas Veale and wife, Donna Veale of Graham. Grandchildren: Brad Veale and wife Cynthia of Scottsdale, AZ; Chris Veale and wife Brooke of Celina, TX; Melissa Fraze and husband Davin of Haslet, TX and Josh Williams and wife Rachel Of St. Helena, CA. Great Grands include, Carick Veale, Cassidy Veale, Sabrina Veale, Hallie Fraze, Korrine Fraze, Eva Williams, Penelope Williams, and Ezra Williams and many nieces and nephews. Foreign Exchange Student Turan Solemez of Turkey 1962-1963.
Kitty was preceded in death by her parents, brother Roy Bean, Husbands Louis Thomas Statton and J.B. Veale, Jr. and daughter Deborah Anne (Veale) Williams.
