Mary Vilardo Obituary
Mary Zuy Vilardo, 86, passed away on February 7, 2026. at the Reading Hospital.
She was the loving wife of Frank A. Vilardo since 1957.
Born on August 26, 1939, Mary was a daughter of the late Andrew and Anna (Kalabisco) Zuy.
She retired in 1994 after 30-plus years at Western Electric.
Mary enjoyed playing cards, traveling and most of all her home and family.
In addition to her husband, she is survived by two children, Samuel (Elaine) Vilardo, and Donna Leffler, widow of Douglass Leffler Sr.; four grandchildren, Daniel (Noelle) and Gregory Vilardo, Douglass Jr, and Derrick (Miranda) Leffler; and three great-grandchildren, Ella Vilardo, Dominic, and Alissandra Leffler.
In addition to her parents, she was predeceased by four sisters and five brothers.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be Celebrated on Monday February 16, 2026, at 11:00 a.m. at St. John Baptist de la Salle Roman Catholic Church, 42 Kerrick Rd, Shillington, PA 19607. Entombment will follow in the Chapel of Resurrection at Gethsemane Cemetery. A viewing will be one hour prior to the Mass at the church. Edward J. Kuhn Funeral Home, Inc., West Reading is in charge of arrangements. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations in Mary’s name may be made to the American Heart Association.
