Neoma (Kramer) Auge, 96, of Wyomissing, PA, passed away peacefully on March 13, 2026, at Complete Care at Berkshire in Exeter. She was the wife of Russell Auge, Jr., with whom she shared nearly 75 years of marriage before his passing in 2024.
Born in Wyomissing, she was the daughter of the late Kermit H. Kramer and Helen (Withers) Kramer. Neoma was a 1947 graduate of Wilson High School.
Neoma devoted over 20 years of her working life as a salesperson at the Windsor Card Shop in the Berkshire Mall. She was a longtime and active member of Calvary United Methodist Church in Wyomissing, where she faithfully served as a Sunday school teacher for many years, sharing her love of faith and community with generations of children.
A woman of many talents, Neoma was a gifted dancer in her youth, performing with the Catherine Behney Dance Studio in Reading and touring with the company. She also found great joy in painting and treasured the time she spent creating artwork. Neoma was a past president of the Ladies Auxiliary of the Berkshire Heights Fire Company, dedicating herself to service and fellowship within her community.
She is survived by her daughters, Rosaline Walker (Michael) of Kenhorst, Doreen Mutter (Randall) of Laureldale, and Lori Thomas (Robert) of Reading; her daughter-in-law, Anita Auge; nine grandchildren; eleven great-grandchildren; and her dear sister, Kathryn C. Gerhart (Sylvester) of Wyomissing.
In addition to her husband, Neoma was preceded in death by her son, Russell Auge III; her great-grandson, Jayden Shadle; and her sister, Mary L. Cucinotta.
Family and friends are invited to attend a memorial service on Saturday, March 21, 2026, at 1:00 p.m. at Edward J. Kuhn Funeral Home, 739 Penn Avenue, West Reading, PA 19611. A visitation will be held from 12:00 p.m. until the time of service.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made in Neoma's memory to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital.
